John M. Hedges, President and part owner for over 20 years
I'm a Rochester native – surviving the weather and Catholic schools – all the way through to an Accounting Degree from Notre Dame. Counted beans in Public Accounting for 7 years, then “graduated” to the Desk Set (formerly known as Johnny’s Junkland!!) since the beginning.

I have been with the Desk Set a little over 10 fun filled years. Enjoy all I do here – almost as much as antiquing and trekking through garage sales. To answer the most asked question of me – YES – that is my voice on the answering machine.

I have been at the Desk Set for 14 and a half years. I recently moved from production into sales – and enjoy the challenge. Love working with the customers, creating comfortable work environments and at the end of a successful day you’ll probably find me with barbeque implements in hand.

I have over 12 years in sales experience and have been working as a sales representative at the Desk Set for 3 years – I love being a part of their team!!!. I have an eye for the aesthetic and enjoy working with people. I was born and raised in Rochester and am the proud mother of three and have two beautiful grandchildren.

I am a native of Rochester, grew up in Greece. I have been full time with the Desk Set 3+ years. Prior to that a retiree of Eastman Kodak after 36 years - as Space and Facilities Planner where I used to be a happy customer of Desk Set. In my spare time I enjoy boating, music and cycling. Married with 3 grown children and one lively dog.

I am now in my third year here at The DeskSet Ltd. and looking forward to many more. March of 2011 will mark my 2 year anniversary with my wife and in May we are expecting our first child! I still enjoy playing volleyball, and drinking a nice cold one while working on my house in my spare time.

Originally from Buffalo, I have decided to stay in Rochester after just graduating with a Business and Marketing degree from St. John Fisher College in May. I plan to take what I have learned in school and apply it to the business setting. I have just been added to the Sales and Marketing team here at the Desk Set and love working with our clients to help them find an ideal furnishing for their needs. The Desk Set is an amazing place to work and I am extremely happy that I started my career with them.
